The Arbor at BayWoods is a state-of-the-art residential healthcare center next to the Chesapeake Bay, offering a full range of healthcare services. Surrounded by 14 acres of lush landscaping and beautifully mature trees, residents delight in having a pier and bayside walking trails just beyond their front door.
Residents enjoy private accommodations, cable television and telephone access. The finishing touches to each resident’s accommodations are their own personal furnishings. Each resident and their families are encouraged to bring along all those special ‘things’ their loved ones collected during their more active years.
The primary goal of The Arbor at BayWoods is to promote independence, physical well being, and a feeling of being a part of our family. To accomplish these objectives, our trained and licensed staff provides an array of stimulating and engaging activities, both inside and outside our community. In addition, we offer housekeeping, laundry services, and supportive assistance with what we call activities of daily living. We’re there to help with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, medications, and incontinence needs. Special diets and pharmacy services are also available.
The Arbor offers the full continuum of care, providing all levels of care and services for those residents in need of assisted living, memory care, on site rehabilitation, skilled, and long term nursing care. Our community is staffed 24 hours -day, 7-days-a-week by licensed nurses and other professionals as well as state certified nursing and geriatric assistants. Maintaining the highest degree of professionally trained health care practioners is our goal and the reason for our success.

Residents look forward to three meals served in the Arbor dining room, prepared by our chef and his staff. We can accommodate special diets as required, and residents that are able can make their meal selections. Depending on mobility and dietary restrictions, residents and their guests are also welcome to dine in both the Bistro and Greenbury Point dining rooms in BayWoods.Reservations are required.
Mealtime is a great opportunity to make new friends as everyone comes together in the dining room, which also serves as a gathering place for activities and shows at various time. Check the activities schedule for a list of these events and times for meals. Often, family members visit during meals and activities making these events even more enjoyable.
The Arbor offers short term respite stays of up to 30 days in our assisted living. It is the perfect solution to the dilemma of “where can my loved one go while I am on vacation”…or perhaps a caregiver needs surgery and are at a loss as to where mom and dad could be safe and cared for during the rehabilitation period.
We serve three chef prepared meals to meet your dietary needs.
There is a full range of activities offered, including an indoor pool and spa. Residents can walk down to the pier on the boardwalk and then sharpen their putting skills on our putting green. Movies are shown several times a week and the fitness center offers state of the art equipment.
The Arbor has a nursing staff on site 24 hours /7 days a week. We will work with you to craft a plan of care based on individual needs. The price per diem will be determined by the amount of care that is needed.
